Even within Germany, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/elektrofachkraft_erhalt_fachkunde_angebot\/\">expert electrical specialist<\/a> must know more than the VDE. This starts, of course, with standards at the European level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>European standards<\/strong> are developed by the <strong>European standards organizations<\/strong>. Experts from the respective member countries are convened as their representatives to vote on new standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voting<\/strong> is done collectively and democratically, with the <strong>weighting of votes<\/strong> based on the respective population size. Germany has one of the higher voting weights. The task of the members includes, at national level, to transpose European standards unchanged into national standards and, if necessary, to withdraw conflicting national standards.<\/p>\n<p>This ensures a high level of <strong>legal certainty of<\/strong> a uniform, European standard. European standards are then adopted by one of the three European standardization bodies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>European Committee for Standardization<\/strong> (Abbreviated: CEN).<\/li>\n<li><strong>European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization<\/strong> (abbreviated to CENELEC).<\/li>\n<li><strong>European Telecommunications Standards Institute<\/strong> (Abbreviated: ETSI).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coordination processes are also taking place at a higher, international level, leading to the emergence of increasingly harmonized <strong>VDE<\/strong>, <strong>EN<\/strong> and <strong>IEC standards<\/strong> in electrical engineering as well. <strong>IEC<\/strong> stands for <strong><br \/>\n  <em>&#8220;International Electrotechnical Commission&#8221;<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong>which operates as an organization at the international level, comparable to the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standards described above. This means that there may be standards which have both a VDE, EN and an IEC number.  <em>And i think that&#8217;s beautiful!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This was a brief insight into the standards beyond VDE for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/elektrofachkraft_erhalt_fachkunde_angebot\/\">expert electrical specialist<\/a>. The knowledge of international and European standards of electrical engineering belongs to the basic knowledge of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/elektrofachkraft_erhalt_fachkunde_angebot\/\">competent electrical specialist<\/a> and is also mentioned in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/elektrofachkraft_erhalt_fachkunde_angebot\/\">course Maintenance of professional competence electrical specialist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PS: Our recommendation here:<\/strong> There are also <strong>courses<\/strong> offered by various providers, such as the aforementioned &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/elektrofachkraft_erhalt_fachkunde_angebot\/\"><br \/>\n  <em>Maintenance of professional competence of electrical specialist<\/em><br \/>\n<\/a>&#8221; or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcs-engineering.de\/offene-trainings\/#EFK_Jahresunterweisung\">&#8220;Recurring instruction for the electrical specialist (annual instruction)&#8221;<\/a>. Thus, a NOT provided, i.e. free troubleshooting, may only be performed by an electrical specialist. The ESfdt should also be kept up to date on a regular basis.
